Among the many questions callers asked Ann-Margaret that night one was about the Life Magazine photo of her being spanked over her uncle's knee. This caller asked if the photo was real or just a publicity stunt. Ann-Margaret responded by admitting that the photo was partly for publicity, but the spanking was real enough and that she had deserved it.
